Umbraco CMS web development for leading maritime Protection and Indemnity Association

Insuring a diverse range of shipowners and charterers since 1866, The London P&I Club is one of the world’s leading Protection and Indemnity Associations, providing P&I, FD&D and War Risks cover to their international membership.

Intuitiv used the Umbraco content management system to offer The London P&I Club a tailored, reliable and easy to use editing experience. This Umbraco website development involved customising the Umbraco CMS so The London P & I Club’s online documents, records, reports and news are easily kept up to date - vital in this industry.

They have complete control over the content, images (including carousels), forms and navigation. Their Umbraco CMS also includes functionality such as desktop/mobile/table preview mode, a media library, admin user management and version control in addition to many, many other features!

Working with a third party agency to achieve their desktop designs, we also created mobile-friendly versions of the designs.

We then built a responsive front end that works across desktop and mobile devices and integrated this with the Umbraco CMS.

In addition, we also created a secure and effective import of documents and data from The London P&I old live databases to the new database, so there was no break in service.
