Umbraco CMS website development for provider of high specification electromechanical components

Pandect has been in existence for over 70 years in the UK providing high specification electromechanical components. Today 90% of Pandect's business is in slip ring design and manufacture in the UK for mainly aerospace, radar and defence programmes and some other high specification, volume industrial applications such as robotics, optical systems and test equipment.

Pandect wanted a mobile responsive website with an easy to use content management system (CMS). They especially wanted the ability to update the news section and site copy easily. In addition, Pandect wanted their SEO marketing to focus on developing more relevant user conversions and enquiries.

Before any design work was undertaken an SEO audit was carried out by an SEO marketing company, and from that, we created wireframes of the pages to ensure the best user experience possible.

From this, we went through a design process to ensure Pandect's expectations were exceeded.

The front end pages and templates were then built based on the approved designs. We then set up and tailored the Umbraco CMS, integrating it with the front end.

By customising the Umbraco CMS, we created a very easy to use system that gave Pandect full control over their site navigation, all content and admin user authorisation. We also produced a CMS user guide for their future reference.
