Muntons has been an Intuitiv client since 1996, back in the very early days of the web. In that time, we have designed and built several incarnations of Muntons.net. They sell high-end, hand-made traditional plant supports and decorative garden items.
With this latest version of the site, Muntons needed a website with all the e-commerce bells and whistles.
We’re an Umbraco Certified Partner so we would normally build the e-commerce website with an Umbraco content management system (CMS) and an e-commerce solution for Umbraco called Vendr.
However, Muntons were on a tight budget so we used an online e-commerce system called Square. Although it’s slightly limited from a design template point of view, the CMS and particularly the e-commerce side of things is brilliant. The frontend functionality provides a smooth and clear user journey, while the backend system provides absolutely everything you’d need from a powerful e-commerce site.
