Access Keys

Access keys are essentially keyboard shortcuts to give a keyboard or screen-reader using acess to the main areas of our website.

Access keys work when pressed in combination with other keys. The combination depends on which browser you are using.

PC Internet Explorer 5+: Hold down Alt, press the access key and then press Enter. Alt + left arrow takes you back to the previous page (as does the browser back button)

PC Mozilla Firefox: Hold down Alt and press the access key. Alt + left arrow takes you back to the previous page (as does the browser back button)

The following keys are available across all pages of our website:

0 Links to help information for the site.
1 Links to the homepage of our main site.
2 Skips you to the main content of the page (past all the navigation).
3 Links to our sitemap, so you can find what you're looking for.
8 Links to our terms and conditions.
9 Links to the feedback form, where you can leave comments or make enquiries.
